A recovery coach is an NDIS funded worker that has mental health knowledge. A recovery coach will:<\/p>

Spend time with you, and people important to you, to get to know you and understand your needs<\/p>

Help you to find out about different services and supports, and how these can help you<\/p>

Help you get support from mental health services<\/span><\/p>

Sally Sheahan<\/h3>

Sally\n\nSally is our Care Manager & Psychosocial Recovery Coach and brings 20 years of experience in the community including; the disability sector, aged care and mental health case management in a state government run facility. Sally is a Yoga and Meditation teacher (traditional) and a Reiki Master. Sally has a Certificate III in aged care & Correctional Practices and a Certificate IV in Mental Health. Sally has recently completed courses in Alcohol and Other Drugs and Family Violence.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Steve Sheahan<\/h3>

Steve is our Manager, Support Coordinator & Psychosocial Recovery Coach and helps ensure all areas of our business runs smoothly including Finance, HR, Compliance & Property Management. Steve has over 15 years experience working in the Information Technology sector and 10 years in Business Management including working for the Department of Defence. Steve has over 10 years experience working in mental health case management in a state government run facility. Steve has recently completed courses in Alcohol and Other Drugs and Family Violence, he has a Certificate III in Investigative Services & Correctional Practice and a Certificate IV in Mental Health. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Both Sally and Steve work with their clients and their support network to ensure their experience with WFS provides them with every opportunity to reach their goals and get the most out of their services with us. <\/p>\n

How we deliver our services:<\/p>\n

Face to Face<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Ideally we would like to deliver our services in person but sometimes this is not geographically possible. If you are located in the <\/span>Southern Moreton Bay Islands, <\/span>Redlands, Brisbane or Northern Goldcoast area then we can deliver our service face to face or we can mix and match via our other methods listed below.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zoom or Telephone<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes all you need is a friendly voice on the end of the phone. Alternatively we can arrange for video meetings as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Multi-Day Sessions<\/u><\/p>\n

We can create tailored multi-day packages that also incorporate our holistic services; Reiki, Yoga, Meditation, Breathing Techniques and Sound Bowl therapy in our beautiful island location. Funding for this service can either be used from Capacity Building funding, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching or from core funding through STA\/Respite. We work with you to get the most value out of you NDIS funding.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
